Turners 150th Party cont.

memberships to Pete Gomerdinger, Fred Finkeldei, Ernest Hinck, Joe Sam Major, Jean Zarker, John H. Mynatt and Shirley MacDougall in honor of her husband Gerald.  After all of the important matters were taken care of, DJ Tony Clayton provided us with a lot of great music.  We did the Polka & the Waltz, and the “Chicken Dance”, “Cha-Cha Slide” and “Electric slide”, we danced slow and then we danced fast.  A wonderful time was had by all who attended. Thank You to all of who purchased an ad to support the printing of our souvenir booklets.

Thank You to Dennis and Sandy, Steve and Rose, Jan Swenson (our Master of Ceremonies), Richard Swenson (catering), Paul and Lynn Fleming for working the bar (and anyone else who helped out back there), Chef Jeff and his crew, Sharon Hutton for the wonderful cake, Tony Clayton, the 150th committee, Joy and the GACA Ladies for allowing us to use their vases and mirrors, anyone who helped with set-up & tear-down and last but not least Thank You to the members of our club(s) that came out to help us celebrate this once in a lifetime event.

We send a Thank You to all those who have carried the burdens and hopes of the Turner cause through all one hundred-fifty years and express a hope that we, may do, as well as the members of the past.

Just remember: Going forward we must unite to achieve the goal of “A Sound Mind in A Sound Body.”  A lot of hard work, determination and dedication have allowed us to reach this plateau.  And with times changing so must we, as we enter our one hundred-fifty-first year may we face the future strong and unafraid.
