PRESIDENT MESSAGE
This month I will not try to get you involved, it seems to be a mute point! I would only ask that, if you do care about this organization, you thank the people who are there every week or when they are asked to volunteer. If you do not know who they are then you are welcome to stop by.
We are having Oktoberfest on September 19th from 5pm til ?. The admission is free; with food and drinks, 2 bands, children’s activities, etc. We would appreciate any help we could get, either Friday night set up or Saturday. We hope that you could volunteer for a short period of time and still be able to enjoy yourself, before or after your shift. These events and Friday nights are the only way we generate money to stay open and not have to tap Turner’s money all the time. Ok so I had to try one more time!
We will be having our General Membership meeting on October 17th, due to an outside rental on the 10th. PLEASE - PLEASE mark this date and try to attend. It is really sad that we have to call people and beg them to come, just to have a quorum!
