Sports and Events offered by the KC Turners

Friday Night Dinner - Join your KC Turner friends for dinner, drinks and good conversation each Friday, starting at 6 p.m. Each Friday will feature a special entree (click Calendar tab on left) or you can order from the clubhouse menu. There is a full bar available as well as a children's menu.

Bowling - The KC Turners Bowling League runs from September through mid-April at Premier Bowling & Recreation Center in Raytown, Mo. The 2008-09 season is in fill swing. The league currently has room for a minimum of five new bowlers for its Thursday night league. League fees are $11 per bowler per night. The lanes have new owners they have installed new Synthetic Lanes that are very nice. April 19 and 20th our bowlers headed to Eligin Illinois for the National Turners Bowling tournament. We had 2 teams each men and women. Our bowlers gave the other Turner bowlers a run for their money. Congratulations go out to our team "Nine Pins" our ladies who took home first place. Also congratulations to Jan Swenson for her first place finish in the Womens singles catagory. To see complete National results please click here.

Tumbling and Dance - The Kansas City Turners offers Tumbling and Dance classes for children 3 years and older each Friday night. Participants get one hour of tumbling plus 30 minutes of tap and 30 minutes of ballet each week. The fee is $10 a month, and classes are currently scheduled through the end of May. The Turners are looking to expand this program, and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. YOUR HELP IS NEEDED- We are currently looking to improve and expand our tumbling and dance program. What we need from all parents, grand-parents, aunts, uncles and friends is your opinions. We want to make this program a success to our members and our club. Texas Hold 'em Poker - Join the Turners once a month for a Texas Hold 'em Poker Tournament at the clubhouse. Check the calendar for exact tournament dates.

Monthly Game Night - Come out for some fun and games as the Turner members play "I Got It", their variation of one of America's favorite game of chance. Check calendar for scheduled game nights.
